Wisepal connects students with qualified instructors across the country through remote or in-person sessions. We cover academic subjects on all school levels.

Our mission is to make learning for independent learners and students accessible, convenient and useful, as well as to provide instructors with a platform to share their invaluable acquired knowledge through individual or small group collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking tutors(deemed as independent contractors) to connect with students seeking tutoring services.

You will meet with students remotely, or one-on-one, as well as in small groups.

You will work closely with them to help solve step-by-step questions and challenging problems.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills

• Ability to present the material using different learning approaches/methods.

• Dependable, patient, and compassionate personality

• Ability to use video-conferencing technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or related field , or currently enrolled in university, with a sophomore status.( -or- if you’re in a related field you should have received an A or A- grade in spanish.

• If you are a teacher and you have a teaching certificate, or license

• You have at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience.
