We are looking for an accounting/finance manager to process, track and evaluate day-to-day activities and to provide business insights to the Founder/Owner. Responsibilities include:

-maintaining monthly Quickbooks financial statements;

-reviewing, paying and analyzing expenses;

-transitioning to paperless, online systems;

-managing payroll and benefits processes;

-participating in tax preparation with CPA and distributing employee tax forms

– coordinating with the Billing Department to maximize collection rates

-month and end-year processes

– accounts payable/receivable
-Follow up on credit card transactions

– Financial reporting: variance analysis, revenue, forecasting

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

Provide recommendations

Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Skills

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $80.00 per hour

Experience:

• Financial accounting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)
