HP Hiring for Azure DevOps Software Engineer at Burnaby, BC Full Time

We are looking for a creative and resourceful Azure DevOps Software Engineer with infrastructure-as-code experience to join our Cloud Solutions team. Cloud Solutions team is responsible for development and deployment of HP Teradici’s award winning remote computing solutions on public and private clouds. We create, maintain and integrate HP Teradici Cloud Access Software offerings on Azure, AWS, GCP and help our business partners with private cloud deployments.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in development and integration of HP Teradici Cloud Access Software with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure Marketplace. As part of our team, you will be involved in all phases of our software development process: research, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, integrate, and support solutions for Azure Cloud and Azure Marketplace. You will also create and validate various CAS deployment scenarios for different enterprise use cases, and update and maintain existing Teradici product lines on public and private clouds. You will help shape the way desktop computing is delivered in enterprise cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, integrate, monitor, and support Teradici product deployments on public and private clouds (with emphases on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure Marketplace).

Create infrastructure-as-code for different scenarios within Azure (and other clouds) infrastructure.

Design, develop and maintain automation testing for various cloud deployment scenarios and components, for functional, integration, system, load, and performance testing.

Integrate CAS Solutions with third party tools, platforms, and marketplaces.

Quickly and independently learn and apply cutting edge cloud technologies.

Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.

Experience working in Azure as a Software Developer or DevOps Software Engineer.

Skilled infrastructure as a code developer, with experience such as ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraforms, Chef, Puppet, Ansible.

Expert software development scripting skills with: PowerShell, Bash, Python, and JavaScript.

Experience configuring networks including gateways, VMs, load balancers, firewalls, and network security gateways.

Software development experience with major platform/languages such as: Python, C#, C++, Java, Go.

Passion to work in an exciting environment and deliver new technologies and products to the marketplace.

First class analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with customers, partners, 3rd party vendors, software developers/architects and business owners.

Bonus Points:
DevOps, Development, Security, Solution Architect, or Networking certifications on AWS, Azure, or GCP clouds.

Experience with building cloud native services and application and integrating them into cloud offerings .

Development of infrastructure-as-code scripts in other public clouds (AWS and GCP) and private clouds (e.g. vSphere, Nutanix, OpenStack).

Knowledge of identity, authentication, and authorization management in public and private clouds.

Use of software management systems: Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps, and/or GitLab.

Working with Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins and/or other CI/CD systems.

Familiarity with security best-practices for cloud-native application development and infrastructure deployment.

Experience with Web technologies such as RESTful APIs, JSON, HTML, CSS, XML, jQuery, etc;

Experience with containers and container orchestration tools.
