Our centre

We are a 76 place service located in a safe rural setting- convenient; close to amenities and transport yet still safe and sound to give parents peace of mind.

Four rooms within the centre: Nursery, Toddlers, Kindy and Kindergarten / Preschool

Your role

We have an immediate requirement for a motivated educator looking to undertake Certificate III qualifications and has already enrolled for their qualifications

You will be required to deliver quality education and care that meets the needs, interests and abilities of each child, whilst providing a safe and healthy environment. It is imperative that you are a proven team player with strong communication skills.

Throughout your training you will be supported by experienced Trainers and Mentors who will foster your professional development, and encourage you to become an integral part of our organisation.

Opportunity to work within all rooms

Full time (38 hours), fixed term for the duration of the traineeship (12mths)

Hold or be willing to apply for a NSW working with children’s clearance

Responsibilities

Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team

Engage and supervise the children at all times

Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families

Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures

Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
