Working on the Grantee Support Services (GSS) team, you will provide support to community-based agencies to enable them to implement high quality, Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Reporting to the Education manager you will:
Collaborate with the Grantee Education team, Delegates, Community Partners and Directly operated Programs to ensure all home visitors are utilizing the curriculum to fidelity.
Provide ongoing coaching to home visiting education coordinators and/or mentor coaches at program sites.
Assist Education Coordinator with monitoring EHS/HS socialization spaces to assure that they are safe, nurturing and engaging learning environments for children.
Attend workshops and trainings related to Education. Share information from workshops and trainings with Head Start Network.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Child Development (CD), Early Childhood Education (ECE) or in a related field.
Five years of home visiting experience.
Three years of work experience as an early learning coach, education coordinator, consultant, mentor, or trainer.
Must be able to read, write and speak proficiently in both English and Spanish.
Knowledge of and ability to implement early childhood curriculum and developmentally appropriate practice for the specific children and families ages three to five.
Be able to remain abreast of developments in the child development field
Salary range: $46-51K
