Requirements for this position include

– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Telecommunications or related field (BSEE, BSCS, BS Telecommunications) or Master’s degree (MSEE, MSCS, or related field)

– 2+ years’ experience in developing and supporting software products, tools or IT services..

– Solid foundation in TCP/IP networking

– Experience with Linux systems administration.

– Experience with Shell or Python languages and environments.

– Linux Adminstration or CCNA or related certifications

Good to have requirements for this position: ( Not Manadatory):

– Experienced in implementation and management of network/security tools and processes. – Experience in managing network/security solutions within a large, enterprise environment. – Kubernetes or Cloud Architect or related certifications

– Experience with revision control systems, such as Subversion (SVN) or GIT

– Experience with build systems (Make/Scons)

– Exposure to system monitoring tools (monit, Zabbix, Nagios)

– Exposure to Databases like SQL Mongo dB .

– Experience in administering Jira, Jenkins, Apache HTTPD

responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include

-Interprets and executes policies procedures, and programs.

– Recommends modifications to the operation of policies and procedures.

– Becomes actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems.

– Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. .

– Ensuring the continuous availability of all systems required to build and release Corning software products.

– Building and maintaining test infrastructure for CI/CD Pipeline.

– Configuring network/security solutions to enterprise environment.

– Solving Linux systems and packages installation issues.

*. Monitoring Jenkin job results.
