About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us on our journey to revolutionise the banking industry. You will be working on one of our international product teams, supporting and building our FX, currency agnostic and international payment solutions.

About You

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of new software products, in addition to enhancing existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

We’re big on ownership and accountability so experience of working in an environment where you are responsible for your code all the way through to monitoring it in production is a big plus.

Core Skills and Experience:

• C# (.NET)
• Automated testing
• Databases (we mainly use Azure SQL and Cosmos DB)
• Messaging systems (we use Azure Service Bus and Event Grid)

• Microservices architecture and related patterns

Desirable Experience

• Service Fabric
• Monitoring and Alerting

• Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform)
• Cloud computing and related concepts, preferably with Microsoft Azure
• Financial experience within Domain (payment scheme knowledge e.g. Swift, BACS, Chaps, Faster Payments) and or Cards (Visa / Mastercard)

In addition to your technical knowledge, we are looking for motivated team players who are delivery focused and can suggest solutions as to how things can be done better – we’re always looking to improve and do things differently. It is important that you have this mind-set too.
