Reporting to the Director of Product Management, our team is looking for a motivated Product Manager to drive our product video roadmap.

About the role-

Primarily focused on:
Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch

Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.

Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.

Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.

Firstlight Media staff reports into offices in a hybrid capacity (i.e partially at home, and partially at the office based on role/team needs) leveraging safety protocols aligned with local public health guidelines as they relate to COVID-19.

About You:
4-8 years of progressive experience in similar role

Mid level product management professional

Experience in OTT video domain and technologies is a plus.

Must have thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and tools and must advocate for adherence to standards.

Must have working knowledge of business practices in at least one specific business software domain.

Experience in Agile methodology is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-starter, ability to work with some ambiguity and comfort working cross functionally.

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.

High emotional intelligence and low ego.

Quick learner and ability to understand technology opportunities and challenges at a business level.

Experience interacting directly with customers and partners.

Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Demonstrated passion and talent for technology. Candidates must have the capability to be conversant with Product and Technology leaders both internally and across our client base.

Preferred Bachelor of Business/Information Systems/ Engineering/Math/Science degree or equivalent experience.
