DLT Labs Hiring for Product Consultant at Toronto, ON Full Time

DLT Labs is looking for a Product Consultant to join our team to drive innovative business value for our growing client base.

As a Product Consultant, you will explore and understand client and prospect business needs & strategies. You will be an expert in recognizing where and how DLT Labs products offer value to a business and can proficiently align their use case with our data capabilities in a compelling and easily understood manner.

This is a client-facing role, so you will have to build relationships and act as the first point of contact with the client’s stakeholders and subject matter experts. The role requires absolute professionalism in presenting to clients, running live configuration workshops, and demonstrating proficiency in offering design solutions that meet the client’s specific needs. Finally, you will become an expert in understanding the inner workings of the Blockchain-based DL Platform and how to configure the platform to satisfy the business needs.

What will you do?

• Facilitate collaborative sessions with clients to elicit requirements, conduct analysis and configure the DL Platform
• Create and present various presentations containing workflow or equivalent diagrams for client review and discussions
• Create various diagrams and models to illustrate client needs and relate them to the DL Platform
• Aid in the design and development of business architecture
• Work very closely with Client Executives/Business Development team to close deals with prospective clients
• Go the extra mile to understand client’s needs and work with Product Managers to suggest new features to enhance the DL Platform based on the knowledge of other similar platforms
• Spend time understanding and learning the DL Platform and develop the capability to configure it individually
• Develop plans and ensure timely delivery to the client with accurate estimates for the completion of requirements and configuration, managing risks, assumptions, and constraints
• Conduct coverage analysis to ensure the relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing, through to implementation

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 6+ years working as a Product Consultant/Business Analyst
• Experience facing high complexity client initiatives is essential, including offering design solutions, delivering presentations and product demonstrations, and managing client’s expectations
• Experience in delivering complex business or technology solutions, from gathering requirements to designing solutions
• Theoretical experience with technologies such as IoT, APIs, JavaScript
• You must be capable of managing multiple projects at once, effective at working with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external), extremely detail-oriented, self-directed, proactive, and accountable to meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate knowledge in the domains of supply chain, payments, or equivalent domains
• Showcase the ability to work in both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
• Good knowledge of IT systems, architectures, and terminology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal/leadership skills
• Staying abreast of developments in own area of practice and able to recognize and translate these to own working environment
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, with a bias toward taking calculated risks in the face of uncertainty

Nice to have:

• Management consulting background an asset
• Bachelors preferably in business or technology
• Experience with ERP and CRM platforms
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
