Advinia Healthcare Hiring for Accounts Receivable Officer Job at London, England Full Time

Due to a grand success in the last 12M with a challenging reporting cycle – AR team have progressed very well and to strengthen this team a new role has been created to support the AR manager and the team to deliver and improve Revenue reporting and reconciliations thru the Sales engine Cold Harbour systems and mirroring onto Sage X-3 ERP system

Key tasks but not restricted to….

– Support of the accounts receivable team members in their tasks
– Evaluate billing/funding activity and recognise, investigate and resolve any inconsistencies and errors
– Investigate large credit balances and provide guidance to the homes on relevant action
– Action debt balances following company’s policy on debt collection, refer to legal team if necessary
– Ensure the timely and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliation
– Assist with month end tasks
– Assist with producing monthly Debtors Report, report to management on monthly basis, discuss the appropriate action
– Ensure all the contract documentation/payment details are submitted to local/health authorities as per requirements (audit checks)
– To ensure effective communication with LA/HA in relation to payment process/funding/contracts
– Ability to manage change and take an active role in process improvement

Requirements:

– Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Officer or accountant
– Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, debt collection process and collection regulations
– Good knowledge of Sage
– High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
– Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent (studying towards recognised accounting qualifications, AAT, ACCA, etc..)
– Proficiency in English and MS Office, data entry skills, customer service skills
– Any exposure to care sector/Coldharbour would be highly beneficial.
