Position description
The Recruitment Team consists of two Recruitment Advisors reporting to the Assistant Director Engagement Services. The Recruitment Advisors have a key role in providing subject matter expertise and advice across our business, operating within an integrated and tiered service delivery model.
The Recruitment Advisors work closely with the business – engaging with IP Australia hiring managers, employees and other key people in IP Australia delivering tailored attraction, recruitment, and onboarding services. The recruitment advisor works with a range of stakeholders from APS staff to the Band 3 and must have the ability and experience to communicate effectively and manage expectations.
The role is broad and deep, spanning a diverse set of responsibilities that directly contribute to IP Australia achieving its corporate objectives under the Strategic Roadmap.

The Recruitment Advisor is privy to highly confidential and personal information, so discretion and a high degree of emotional intelligence is critical. The advisor manages the candidate care for both external and internal candidates, therefore they need sound communication skills, demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships, a good eye for detail and a professional, trusted approach.
