As a Security Officer Armed Route Driver Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
• Serve in an armed post capacity by maintaining authorized equipment in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws and licensing requirements.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access and crowd control, and support loss prevention and other security-related operations as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Guard card is required in Texas only.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
