Description:
The Finance Officer reports to the Finance and Compliance Manager and is part of the Corporate Services team.

Functional accountabilities of this role include the administration of the following:

Financial Reporting;

Business Activity Statements;

Banking;

Payments & Receipting;

Credit Card Management;

Payroll – including leave, superannuation, PAYG tax, Salary Sacrifice and FBT;

Travel Allowance; and

Asset Management.

Skills and Experiences:

• Qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance Administration – desirable
• At least five years’ experience in a similar role performing the accounting/bookkeeping and payroll functions
• Advanced knowledge and experience with MYOB and its associated packages
• Advanced ability with the Microsoft Office suite of programs specifically Excel
• Advanced experience with SAP
• Demonstrated competence in payroll processing
• Demonstrated ability to take direction, determine priorities and manage workloads in order to meet agreed timelines and objectives
• Demonstrated competence in use of Business technology and desktop applications; internet, word, spreadsheet and database packages
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Very good attention to detail
