Cascades Hiring for Maintenance Millwright at Scarborough, ON Full Time

We are looking for licensed Millwright for our Industrial Millwright position at Scarborough Lithotech division. It is a weekend day shift (Friday – Monday). Must be flexible to cover other shifts nad respond to maintainance needs off hours.

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical problems on production and auxiliary equipment

Modify, repair or replace parts of machinery to maintain production capacity.

Inspect, lubricate machine part and determine future maintenance requirment

Perform changeover, setup and adjustments on production equipoment

Participate in safety meeting and contribute to departmental safety action plan

Participate on major projects, installations and start ups

Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determone spare parts requirements

Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all safety procedures

Ensure flexibility to respond maintenance needs off hours

Supervise outside contractors when on-site

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Millwright License (433A) is required

Refreigeration license, 313A’ will be an asset

Several years of experience as Industrial Millwright is preferred

Ability to read and write English

Good understanding of safety procedures such as ZES.

Intermediate computer skills

Good analytical and attention to detail skill

Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines.
