Role responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for

• Being a Finance Business Partner and Finance Decision Support for the one of the VF Business Platform and Solutions teams and the respective Director/Head of
• Defining, implementing and running financial governance and financial and efficiency KPIs
• Manage financial activities needed to run the area (s) in scope, including setting up of financial processes for new activities
• Provide commercial and financial expertise to drive the best decisions, maximising the return on resources and investment
• Support the Director/Head of the department and their team in developing business cases, being in charge of the financial aspects

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Change agent Driving financial excellence:
• Driving the adoption of most efficient best practice in terms of solutions and processes across different departments and teams (including other group functions)
• Establishing and owning relationships with the finance and ‘virtual’ teams across the OpCos and Group
• Earning the trust of senior management to give guidance and support
• Business Partner: support in the definition of financial processes, Business Cases, financial KPIs, efficiency programmes, leading and being directly in charge of the financial aspects
• Governance: define and maintain governance in term of spending approval, in line with Group policies and best practices
• Planning cycles: lead, challenge, validate and support budgets and long range plans
• Reporting: provide the finance community and heads of department with meaningful month end reporting, highlighting variances to plan and proposing corrective actions
• Management accounts: performing the month end and year end activities
• Admin: support the team with financial advice on day to day operational activities such as approving shopping carts, advising on all financial accounting aspects, input into the planning tools, ad-hoc reporting as needed
• Leading and Tracking cost efficiency and reporting financial results to the relevant stakeholders
