Description:

Working onsite at Wamego, Kansas facility with additional assistance across Construction Industries IT Team. As a Systems Administrator 3, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support as well as technical expertise as it relates to programming to ensure the high availability of IT services that enable the manufacturing of customer products. This role will work with process experts to understand the required system changes and coordinate their implementation to meet business goals. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and with corporate teams on introducing new IT solutions that improve business process efficiency. Work with internal and external partners to diagnose and solve problems. Individuals should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment. Must be able to configure and troubleshoot issues regarding dedicated PC associated with Factory applications. Must understand Microsoft Office Suite and be able to Install/Configure applications. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as being a collaborative team member. Develops, integrates, and / or supports in-house and purchased application solutions to solve business problems.

Typical Day:

Typical Day is M-F First Shift role providing on-site technical support as well as technical expertise as it relates to programming to ensure the high availability of IT services primarily for the Wamego, KS facility with additional assistance across the Construction Industries IT Team. Due to the criticality of the facility , night and weekend work is required as needed but not typical. Customer service facing, may have meetings with peers and key business holders. Office structure daily.

Technical Skills Required:

• 2+ years Factory level Working Knowledge in 1 or more of these applications CribMaster, ProNest, and PlanetPress.
• Incumbent should have working knowledge of Network structure and basic IP structure including vlans. -3 to 5 years of development experience in Java, Java Script, and Visual Basic.
• Working Knowledge of PLC logic interface and program interface PLC logical data
• Experience working with structured database, SQL, Oracle, etc. and the ability to write SQL queries.

Soft Skills Required:

• strong customer focus -strong desire / ability to learn in complex and evolving environment
• Ability to function as a Leader within a team and in medium sized projects.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
