Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Software Developer to join their team helping to provide business critical software products and related services to the UK Police Forces. Our client upholds a strong reputation for being market leaders in this space and offers their staff access to a range of resources, support, and, they have developed their own Java API for application development!

What they are looking for is a “hands-on” Software Developer that will be involved throughout the full development life cycle and working as part of an agile development team. You will be involved in the building of bespoke front-end software solutions.

Our client asks that you have:

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in programming on Oracle databases with PL/SQL and SQL.
• Java experience and an aptitude for complex O.O software.
• A computer science-based degree or equivalent.
• Good problem solver, self-motivated and a team player.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Able to successfully pass a formal UK Police Security Clearance (SC) check.
