The opportunity
In this newly created and highly critical position, you will be responsible for delivering on a wide range of reporting transformation initiatives, as well as ensuring UniSuper complies with newly introduced regulatory and statutory reporting obligations. To ensure these are met you will;
  • Drive, manage and support changes required in relation to Financial Control processes and ensure alignment with Governance frameworks
  • Review existing weekly/quarterly/annual APRA returns and other reporting reconciliations
  • Develop, support, administer and maintaining requirements associated with the Financial & Regulatory Reporting Governance Framework including development of policies as required
  • Design and drive adoption across the wider financial control team

About you
As an experienced Finance professional, you will bring well developed stakeholder management, project management and communication skills to effectively build links across business units to expedite outcomes. Your strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills will shine through, along with proven experience with;
  • APRA reporting and knowledge of the accounting standards and APRA regulations
  • Excel spreadsheeting
  • Execution of change and change management/governance
  • Building on systems skills and capability existing within key customers groups
