Mid-Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails

Offering an interesting coding challenge to stabilize our existing system, repair bugs, tweak existing features then enter a 6-12 month development project to take our system to the next level with a interactive webapp for our staffing teams to use. Remote working with planned collaboration meetings in Manchester.

Flair provides teams of event staffing UK wide to sporting events, festivals, venues etc. We can be dealing with 1 person working full time to 500 people for one day. From an initial platform year its evolved into a database capable to operating 600 contacts per year.

Looking for a mid-senior, full-stack Ruby on Rails developer with a passion for problem-solving, result driven and building apps. You will have the opportunity to learn and experiment with new technologies, help maintain existing apps and build from scratch.

You tick these boxes

• 3+ years Ruby on Rails full-stack experience
• Experience working with JavaScript/AJAX and React.js / Vue
• Ruby/ROR/GIT/Html/Erb/Haml/Coffeescript/Postgres
• Responsive mobile-first CSS/Sass
• Working knowledge of Git
• Committed to having clean, documented, and optimised code
• Follow test-driven development principles
• Server and deployment knowledge

• MySQL / Postgres experience
• Wireframing & prototyping
• Experience working with APIs

· Basic DevOps with Ubuntu/Nginx/Capistrano
