Bellwood Labs is a dynamic Product Development Consultancy (with our own SaaS Marketing Dashboard product, Converge), founded in Atlanta and funded by Mark Cuban, that has navigated to profitability and is hiring for growth. We are hiring a Senior Consulting Software Engineer to help accelerate our growth. In addition to serving as a skilled individual contributor, this person will also mentor, manage, advise, and help develop other Software Engineers on the team.

We are a Distributed team. Work hard wherever you are. You will not be asked to relocate to another city – there is no Office to Return to. We are planning our second team retreat, and plan to have team gatherings 2-3 times a year. You won’t want to miss them!

We are seeking Full Stack, Leadership-focused Software Developers to build and scale a variety of Web and Mobile Products for an intriguing range of clients.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced team that excels at building Software as a Service (SaaS) products. This position reports to the CEO. Future growth in this role may lead to a CTO role.

Qualifications

This is a challenging and varied technical leadership role. Experience developing applications in Ruby on Rails, React, React Native, or Java is necessary, though the role also requires a voracious appetite to learn and apply new skills. You should be skilled at building web-based software or mobile apps, and excel at learning new languages and frameworks.

You should be comfortable speaking with non-technical clients and digesting their ideas into suggested solutions to accomplish their goals as a creative and supportive technologist.

You should be comfortable managing and mentoring a team of 2 to 5 mid to senior-level software engineers.

Converge is a Marketing Reporting Automation platform that helps Digital Marketing Agencies increase the profitability, accuracy, and efficiency of the reporting they provide to clients every month.

The developer in this role contributes to our client-facing Services projects as well as our SaaS product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
