The Director working with the VP of Finance, Government Programs will produce detailed financial dashboard and ad hoc reporting for Medicare. Such reporting may include financial analysis of medical expense, administrative expenses, and risk arrangements. The Director will be responsible for managing a team to develop and enhance financial analysis and forecasting methodologies to improve the financial success of Medicare Programs. This will include providing operational insight on key business processes and process improvement opportunities. The Director will work with the VP of Finance, Government Programs to present results and recommendations to senior management. This position will report to the VP of Finance, Government Programs position.

FT/Exempt/Day Shift Position

Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree; Graduate Level Degree in Accounting, Business Admin or Finance is strongly preferred.

Required Experience: At least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance; at least 4 years of which at a managerial level. Managed care experience with Medicare.

Preferred Experience: SQL, Tableau and Reporting & Dashboard

Other: Knowledge of accounting, finance, management, statistics, information systems, and general business theory as may be acquired in an under-graduate or graduate degree program in Accounting, Business Admin or Finance.6 years employment experience in accounting or finance, 4 of such years in a management position. Managed care experience with Medicare is required. Strong analytical and presentation skills required. Demonstrated leadership, analytical, operational and administrative problem-solving skills to improve efficiency of subordinates; Verbal and written communication skills for presentation to senior management and for writing reports, letters, and other documents; Ability to use spreadsheet software on a personal computer and familiarity with computerized accounting systems. Organizational skills, calmness, and patience to manage large volume of work, tight deadlines, and frequently shifting priorities; Interpersonal skills to manage numerous employees and to interact successfully with coworkers; Leadership and teaching skills to develop or expand management capabilities of subordinates.
