ow will I help?
T

his role plays a vital role in implementing and managing risk management, monitoring obligations in Group Treasury Finance, supporting consistent implementation, and embedding of risk management framework, policies and controls.

his role is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders on all matters risk and control, responsible for implementation of solutions to risk and control problems.
I

t is an expectation of this role to support a strong risk culture that embodies our ethics and integrity, balancing commercial and customer needs.

ey responsibilities include:

• rovide risk expertise in the identification, assessment, and actioning of risk and control issues to drive a strong risk and controls culture that helps achieve business objectives.

• artner with key stakeholders across Treasury Finance – Liquidity, IRRB/TPALM and Product Control teams to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices in the business. The successful candidate will drive the development and enhancement of new and existing controls.

• anage ad-hoc governance initiatives that enhance Treasury Finance’s control environment.

• ssist with drafting governance policy and other compliance documentation.
  S
• upport the proactive and effective monitoring, management and reporting of current and emerging risks and facilitate a strong risk culture, risk awareness and ownership of risk throughout the business.

• rovide input into the quality of JUNO records and updates. Partner the business in capturing and managing operational incidents, issues, and actions.

• oach and support the business to build greater risk awareness and capability.

• eporting of risk and controls metrics to Financial Controllers, Head of Finance, and other Senior Management.

nowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• years plus experience in an accounting-based role, (i.e. Financial Control, Product Control, Business Assurance) or equivalent with a strong focus on controls/governance and assurance

• rofessional accounting qualification (CA/CPA)
  P
• roactive, organised and outcomes focused.
  S
• trong verbal and written communication skills – ability to influence and negotiate.
  E
• xperience drafting policy and compliance documentation highly desirable.
  A
• ppreciation of the Treasury business function and an understanding of financial instrument valuations and their commercial application.
