Cisive is seeking an eager and intellectually curious Financial Database Analyst to partner with our organization. The right candidate will explore a range of business questions, ultimately helping the company to achieve its financial and operational goals, through sophisticated data analysis and applying business acumen. We expect this Analyst to be a proactive member of the Finance team, asking questions to learn the industry and grow with this dynamic company which has completed five acquisitions in under 30 months. The role will report to the Senior Financial Analyst and CFO in Holtsville, NY but will also develop strong relationships with the leaders of the world-wide senior team. Therefore the candidate should be comfortable presenting financial information to all levels of management in a clear and concise way.

Responsibilities of the Financial Database Analyst include, but are not limited to the following:

• Create and deliver key financial and operational metrics in a timely manner to support company initiatives and board reporting
• Develop and maintain reporting tools across various functional areas
• Partner with members of the senior management team to develop critical reporting requirements
• Participate in the strategic planning process and provide insights and ideas
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements to streamline the use of key business metrics
• Gather, organize, and interpret statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, upper management
• Other duties as assigned and directed by your Supervisor

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel skills a must, SQL, Python and PowerQuery experience desired
• Ability to work with large sets of data from various systems to drive meaningful analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field, preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience with financial analysis and financial reporting, preferred
