Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd Hiring for Site Finance Lead – Manufacturing Job at Mulgrave Full Time

The Melbourne Finance Lead role oversees all aspects of financial management and site finance activities for the Pfizer Melbourne manufacturing site and is the primary business partner for the site operations director and the local management team.

In this role, you will oversee a finance team in Melbourne of approximately 5-6 staff and lead finance activities for the local legal entity of Hospira Australia Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Pfizer). You will be responsible for directing and leading the Site finance team, delivering timely financial reporting and analysis, processes, and systems to the business as well as maintaining a proper financial internal control environment at all sites.

Your dedication will ensure the Pfizer Melbourne site to produce quality medicines to patients worldwide in a cost effective and compliant manner.

Role Responsibilities**

• Partner with the Site Lead and Site Leadership Team in ensuring that the site meets financial commitments

• Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial results of Melbourne and maintain a proper internal control environment.

• Partner with Pfizer Global Supply Global Financial Solutions the in successfully performing month-end close activities.

• Support and develop our Contract Manufacturing organisation (known as Pfizer CentreOne) relationship at Melbourne.

• Ensure compliance and consistency to processes and procedures to ensure business continuity.

• Key member of the Operating Unit, contributing to decision making and strategic-planning.

• Preparation of budgets and LRP in accordance with format and timelines.

• Ensure that sites are audit ready at all times for either internal or external review.

• Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Oversee all capital investments for the Melbourne site, including completion of site master expansion plans.

• Development of Melbourne staff – clear communication of objectives and follow-up on attainment of these objectives. Develop clear succession plans for key positions.

• Provide financial support to all site related business development opportunities

• Provide financial analysis and evaluations for all Plant Network Strategy analysis and product transfers

• As required, partner with external agencies to ensure financial support and relationships

• Play a lead role in strategic projects

• Work directly with the Pfizer Sydney Australia to ensure financial compliance

Qualifications**

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• Qualified Accountancy degree (CPA, CA, CMA, equivalent)

• 15+ years of finance experience

• Experience in leading and influencing teams

Nice to Have

• MBA or post-graduate degree

• Regulated manufacturing finance experience preferred

Organisational Relationships**

• Managing financial operations of a site of approximately 450 people

• Understanding the Hospira Australia Pty Ltd relationship with the joint venture plant located in Ahmedabad, India.

• Oversee R&D and Pfizer activities as the Head of the Legal Entity
