About the role:

Based in Parramatta, this role will oversee all aspects of the financial administration of Sime Darby Motors Group and develop and drive consistent practices throughout financial operations. This role will ensure compliance with internal and statutory policy and regulation. Provide accurate, timely information to the senior team, external auditors, Finance department and local financial controllers on all aspects of the business’ performance.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

• Manage the Accounts Payable function ensuring prompt entry of invoices and payment within terms along with ensuring correct authorisation of invoices in line with the LOA’s
• Manage the Accounts Receivable function ensuring the timely collection of debts and reporting on the status of receivables. Resolution of aged debts and assessment of risk factors.
• Regular review of credit limits and assessment of new customers
• Management of the Deal Processing Team ensuring timely processing of deals along with the accuracy of the deal input

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Relevant tertiary education business degree.
• Demonstrated experience within a motor industry wholesaler or similar industry.
• Strong financial/commercial background and understanding.
• Extensive financial accounting knowledge both principle and practice.
• Management of the Deal Processing Team ensuring timely processing of deals along with the accuracy of the deal input
