We’re looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join our well funded technology start-up! As our first Finance hire, this is a great autonomous opportunity where you will take ownership of building a finance department in the way you see fit for a fast growing technology scale-up. This is a real opportunity to join a fun and personable team as one of their very early members, positioning yourself nicely as the company sets to expand globally!

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the preparation of annual reporting and financial statements
  • Optimizing accounting, payroll and internal processes as the company grows
  • Monitoring and controlling budgets
  • Building out a finance function and team

Requirements

  • Previous experience building a finance function and procedures from scratch
  • Previous experience working within a fast paced scale-up (ideally)
  • Strong knowledge of German accounting law
  • Fliuent in German and English and
  • You are comfortable working remotely
