A leading fashion design company in New York City is seeking a Sales Assistant/Support to join their team.

In this role there is potential to move into Sales.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the account executive lead on all tasks to ensure orders are being processed and managed.
• Maintain daily communication with the buying team.
• Maintain open order reports, modifying any dates as needed with approval from sales.
• Work closely with the design team to meet customer requests
• Track sales orders, EDI orders and make sure they have been entered into the system accurately
• Create and analyze selling reports
• Keeping track of our customers samples, tagging and sending samples out for approvals.
• Assist in market preparation and market appointments.

Skills

• Must have 1-2 years’ experience
• Strong computer knowledge, Microsoft office, and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and 
• Analytical skills
• Detail oriented
