Brandt Hiring for Platform Team Lead – Utility Trailers at Regina, SK Full Time

Brandt is currently seeking a Platform Team Lead – Utility Trailers for our Regina location. This position is responsible for the successful management of a group of engineers, technologists, and designers, as well as management, design, project planning, estimating, and customer relations

Duties & Responsibilities

Create and manage engineering teams for successfully delivering projects to internal customers

Develop, mentor, and retain high quality design staff

Work with customer support and provide technical support for field issues as needed

Identify areas for improving cost, quality, feature offerings, etc. to business development leads

Identify and mitigate technical and business risk related to the engineering design of products

Develop design concepts and directions for project teams that will create long-term profitability of the platform

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Professional Engineer or Technologist with 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience

Extensive experience in relevant design and design tools like CAD

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Extensive product/project knowledge in the platform area
