CORE DUTIES:

• Performs tasks associated with the general ledger, i.e., entering period journal entries, reconciling various balance sheet accounts, and reviewing profit and loss statements.
• Assists with period closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting.
• Prepares inventory analysis reports and analyzes variances.
• Verifies accuracy of inventory standard costs.
• Reconciles inventory accounts to the general ledgers.
• Completes monthly sales tax filings.
• Assists with providing data to internal and external auditors, as needed.
• Processes and reconciles data from sales, accounts receivable and inventory platforms to accounting system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent subject, two (2) years general accounting experience. Must have a working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Must have the ability to analyze data with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and ERP general ledger accounting packages is required. Experience with SAP is preferred. Public accounting experience is preferred. Must have good written, interpersonal and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to self-start, multitask, and set priorities. Must have the ability to lead and direct the work of others. Must be able to work hours required to complete assigned tasks.
Constantly (67%-100%) required to sit. Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb, stand and lift up to 40 pounds.
