Forklift Engineer, Whittlesey, Mon-Friday 39 hours

£35,646.86 + local bonus paid monthly + 10% company pension contribution + overtime with OTE over 50K + fantastic share saver scheme.

ATA are supporting a large manufacturing group at one of their flagship sites in the west Peterborough area. The fully automated site which has been standing in the heart of the community for over 40 years, are on track to have their best year to date, targeting to produce 110 million units by the end of 2021.  The company employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. With a turnover eclipsing £400 million the business is going from strength to strength and are set to grow even further in 2021.

About the role

As a forklift engineer you will be responsible the following.

• Daily PPM & annual servicing.
• Reacting to breakdowns.
• Fault finding and fault rectification.

About you

Our client is looking to speak to forklift engineers from the following backgrounds, Agricultural, Armed Forces such as REME, Automotive, Construction Equipment, Materials Handling.

–         You should have previous experience working as a forklift engineer

–         Happy to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

–         You should adopt a first-time fix culture.

–         As this site has an extremely low turnover of staff, it is important you are looking for a company where you can develop and want to stay long term.

It would also be beneficial for you to have completed a recognised engineering qualification.
