Position summary

Downer’s Group Strategic Planning & Analysis team is expanding. Working as a part of a small but highly effective team, the Corporate Finance Analyst will be engaged across the annual strategic business planning process, preparation of investor relations/financial markets material and other ad hoc projects. Reporting into the Corporate Finance Manager, you will be part of the Business Planning process, preparation of investor relations material, Capital allocation analysis, Data and Joint Venture reporting

ABOUT YOU

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance;

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a finance function, which may be within a professional services or corporate environment;

Good understanding of financial statements and experience in working with financial models;

Proficiency in report writing and developing PowerPoint decks;

Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Self-motivated individual with an enthusiastic and “can do” attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities;

Takes pride in delivering consistent and accurate work with timely execution;

Ability to liaise effectively and build relationships with a range of stakeholders;

Naturally curious with the desire to learn, develop and further their career.
