Summary
Under the supervision of the Controller, projects and provides support for daily workflows. Creates summary spreadsheets for daily information output. Ensures that cash is safeguarded and may prepare management accounting reports. May be assigned special projects as needed. Able to perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and manage many tasks in a short period of time.

Responsibilities:

• Performs cashier functions including ordering & receiving cash
• Maintains cash safe contents subject to audit
• Balances daily reports, investigates and resolves errors
• Addresses credit card disputes & chargebacks
• Prepares and sends rental program & retail tenant statements
• Works with departments to generate whole owners’ housekeeping and maintenance invoices
• Professionally responds to invoice questions
• Distributes weekly financial reports
• Works with Front Desk to ensure night audit postings are accurate
• Creates tracking spreadsheets & performs research as requested by the Controller.
• Other duties assigned by Controller.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2- or 4-year degree in accounting or business
• Prior experience in lodging/hospitality a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Accurate and detail oriented with strong math and computer skills.
• Organized, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
