Accounting Clerk

PA Distribution has an immediate opening for an organized and efficient Accounting Clerk at its office location on the west side of Eugene, Oregon. Do you have an eye for detail and perform with a high level of accuracy? This is a full-time position that can expect to work with customers, vendors, and internal staff in a wide range of bookkeeping and supporting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic office tasks, including answering vendor or customer inquiries by phone and email, filing, etc.
• Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed.
• Maintain a database, ensuring current records are complete, plus research and resolve errors.
• Respond appropriately to a customer, vendor, and internal requests.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Maintain a positive outlook with energy and enthusiasm for service – helpful.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Be able to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate with a team.
• Successfully prioritize/multi-task to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy for data entry.
• Have a working knowledge of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively resolve disputes or complaints, as you will be interacting with staff and vendors or customers daily.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous Accounting experience required – at least 1 year.
• Additional training or education in Accounting preferred.
• Accounts Payable or Receivable experience preferred.
• MS Dynamics experience preferred.
