POSITION IS LOCATED IN: Dinuba, Ca

COMPENSATION: $25-$27 per hour Depending on Experience (Non-Exempt)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year of applicable work experience preferred. Some college background would be helpful.
• Strong ability to analyze and work with large amounts of data.
• Must have fluent knowledge of Excel, and strong overall PC skills, including effective e-mail communication.
• Familiarity with MEI and SDS would be beneficial.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in a professional manner and work with a wide range of Ruiz Foods’ personnel and with contacts outside of the company.
• Detail oriented, good organizational skills, and able to work independently.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform administration functions of the trade promotion management system-MEI.
• Analyze data and recommend plans of action to ensure compliance to trade budgets and policies.
• Perform system training for Brokers, Sales Managers and any other user as needed to ensure that users of MEI are fully educated on the system.
• Work closely with Sales team and Brokers to ensure timely and accurate entry of promotions. Entails making recommendations to fine tune promotions that have excessive spending.
• Weekly review of upcoming promotions to ensure promotions are approved and committed timely.
• Manage and maintain the contracts of corporate programs which include the review process by the Ruiz legal team as well as internal teams (CEO, CFO, VP of sales) and obtaining proper Ruiz signatures of the final contract.
• Perform timely entry of promotions of corporate programs that affect different regions which would also include ensuring that the promotions are approved and committed.
• Ensure that maintenance and review of promotions are performed by Sales, Brokers and CRM in the monthly “scrub process”. This would include generating and dispersing the reports to all involved parties.
• Validate & generate check requests/deduction paperwork for applicable marketing programs.
• System maintenance of buying groups.
• Attend sales meetings for promotion planning and provide data support involving MEI promotions (may involve some travel).
• Generate spending reports and/or analysis of promotions as requested by the Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams.
