As our IT Services Intern, you’ll be taking on a hands-on job, full of learning experiences as we continue to evolve our GM brands in Australia. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engage with end users in a professional and courteous manner
• Support diagnosis of hardware and software incidents to establish root cause and drive to resolve end user issues
• Provide support for computer related issues to the end user
• Complete PC refresh activities
• Provide Multi-Function Device printer hardware support
• At GMANZ Warehouse sites, troubleshoot issues with handheld and vehicle-mounted wireless computers, tethered scanners and thermal transfer barcode label printers
• Perform configuration changes to warehouse equipment
• Ensure end users retain fully functional Information Technology (IT) assets
• Manage & maintain IT spares inventory at all sites
• Support IT Equipment API (Annual Physical Inventory).
• Maintain the IT asset database
• Complete assigned ITIL – ITSM paperwork pertinent to job tasks
• Engage other IT teams when required to troubleshoot or escalate tickets
• Attend staff management meetings and other ad-hoc meetings as required
• Create adhoc reports when requested
• Assist as required with the deliverables from IT projects, eg Equipment Refresh, Comms changes, System updates, Audit
• Share end user delivery information such as hints and tips with team members
• Document and update IT related processes where applicable
• Provide guidance and advice on GMIT processes to the end user (e.g. change management)
• Provide business/after hours support to Order Management where appropriate
• Work and coordinate with the regional IT team as appropriate

Education:Studying a

• degree qualification in Information Technology or similar is preferrable
