The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will involve engaging with our customers via live chat and other traditional means, assisting with general customer service, and processing on-line sales orders. All tasks will be completed with the goal of providing the highest possible level of sales and customer service.
Please note: This role is strictly on-site. This is not a work from home position.
What you will be doing
Support ownership and all other departments to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce costs
Engage and assist customers through on-line chat
Assist customers to identify appliances that meet consumer needs and sell through the live chat website
Process and manage orders for customers who buy online, providing the same high-quality experience our in-store shoppers receive
Build rapport and good will with online customers to support in-store sales staff
Maintain a high standard of product knowledge
Support sales events
To be successful in this role, you ideally
Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Superior communication skills (both verbal and written)
Are customer focused: Enjoys solving customer problems
Computer literacy / typing ability (60 wpm)
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Sales and customer service experience preferred but not required
Continuous product & process training in fast-paced environment
Previous online sales / chat or appliance experience an asset
