Position Overview
Coordinate and process all Human Resources related documents and correspondence. Process department reports and billings. Makes appropriate changes reflected in the scheduling system due to vacancies or long term absences. Ensure that master rotations for all departments are accurate and up to date, based on information received.
Experience
Must have payroll processing experience.
Two (2) years human resource and payroll office experience in a large facility or company (over 200 employees) required.
Experience in administering employee benefits.
Ability to reconcile payments related to benefits.
Proven ability to communicate with outside agencies such as WCB, MPIC, EI and benefit providers.
Must be trained or be willing to be trained on QHR and ESP software.
Two (2) years experience in scheduling and rotation development.
Typing speed of 50 WPM and proficiency in using spreadsheets required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Certificate or training taken will include payroll, scheduling and HR software.
May also include a combination of the following: Accounting Level 1, Human Resources Certificate, Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Excel.

Physical Requirements
Office environment.
Continuous periods of computer use, reading and writing.
May encounter aggressive and/or agitated individuals.
The Collective Agreement this position is covered under, is identified by the Union noted above. As a result of The Health Sector Bargaining Unit Review Act, the bargaining agent for this position may differ from the Union identified. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
