A national organisation operating across over 20 locations in Australia, there are delivering a joint venture with the government to deliver a large scale Infrastructure projects.

Your new role

You will form an integral part in implementing the Financial Control and Reporting Framework for the project focusing on ongoing improvements and efficacies .

Maine duties will include:

• Development of financial plans/budgets including annual plans, Investment Plan as required
• Financial reporting processes to provide appropriate levels of reporting to various stakeholders
• Develop and manage the financial controls for all aspects of the Program budget
• Manage project accounting processes to ensure relevant costs
• analysis and reporting of foreign exchange risk
• Managing risk analysis of proposed contractor expenditure and modelling of appropriate risk adjustments to achieve a realistic monthly/contract life, expenditure outcome
• monitoring of the forecast total cost of contracts; and leading cost investigation activities / audits which are included in the contractual arrangements.

What you’ll need to succeed


You will have built teams, lead by example and maintains effective relationships at strategic and working levels.

Extensive commercial accounting experience, supported by appropriate qualifications and sound knowledge of financial information systems. Experience of commercial accounting within a program management environment is desirable. Well-developed management abilities, including a proven ability to successfully manage a range of financial activities.

This role will require Australian citizen ship to be able to obtain a baseline clearances

What you’ll get in return

this is an exciting project offering a mix of commercial and government delivery offering a competitive package of $160,000 to $190,000 inclusive of super .
