Role Summary:

Our Finance Assistant will provide crucial support to the build to rent team by ensuring that all accounting functions are undertaken, providing timely and accurate financial reporting to the Client and financial modelling to the internal team as and when required.

Responsibilities as our Finance Assistant will include:

• Processing daily banking receipts and ensuring accurate banking records are maintained
• Processing of Accounts Payable invoices
• Produce weekly AP payment runs
• Control and maintain the PO system
• Monitor and control of void unit costs through external portals
• Tenant deposit returns and tenant refunds
• Support in preparation of accruals
• Adhoc data reporting tasks
• Helping and supporting site teams with AP and ledger quires
• Other Adhoc admin duties

What we are looking for in our Finance Assistant:

Essential

• Previous Accounts Payable experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload to strict deadlines
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• AAT qualified (or working towards)

Desirable

• Previous property accounts experience would be an advantage
