We are looking for a remote Freelance Associate Packaging Designer for a top fashion company in New York City!

This person will support packaging for home category, beauty, accessories, apparel, and CPG.

Responsibilities:

• Creates accurate packaging production files for a broad range of packaging types
• Translates private label graphics from style guides and templates
• Works with clients to understand their needs.
• Evaluates consumer and market trends for packaging materials
• Executes both interior and exterior production ready artwork that is attractive and high quality
• Develops and executes packaging that is on-brief and on-time
• Supports packaging team projects during workload peak

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Design, or related field
• 3-5 years Applicable work experience in packaging design and production
• Private label experience a plus (consumer products, home industry)
• Must have own computer setup for remote work
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Mac/PC operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong ability to collaborate with other colleagues
