Newcastle and the Hunter region is exploding with opportunity! The NSW Government has invested a record A$87.2 billion in projects — the most of any Australian state or territory. This includes developing new rail, road and air links, as well as upgrading existing infrastructure such as hospitals, schools and stadiums to better service the state’s growing economy and population base. Our manufacturing clients are riding this wave and over 10,000 new jobs will be created to support the boom in infrastructure growth, hydrogen and renewable energy.

The Role

In order to support our large and diverse range of growing and attractive clients across Newcastle and the Hunter through this manufacturing boom, we are looking for experienced Recruitment Consultants to join our team.

Situated in our beautiful Cooks Hill office, this is an opportunity to allow your own brand and reputation shine. Although working autonomously, you will also be supported by a well-established team. The management team will seek your input on strategy and growth opportunities to develop new business and maintain the high-quality standards of delivering both permanent and contract recruitment.

Your Experience

You will have agency experience or be an internal talent acquisition specialist who is looking to work more strategically. You will be comfortable and competent with business development activities, relationship management and networking within the Manufacturing sector. Your experience will include managing the end-to-end recruitment process, working with large business, and nurturing authentic customer relationships. You may have relevant experience working with clients in the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and renewable Energy sectors, and if so we would love to speak with you!

You will have a successful track record in recruitment delivery and can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of contemporary recruitment methodologies and talent sourcing practices.
