Role Summary

Our new Management Accountant will support the Finance Team by delivering accurate and timely management reporting information to support the business and our parent group STADA.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of the management accounts and related reporting to deliver accurate information on a timely basis in line with both local and Group requirements.
• Perform month-end activities under tight reporting deadlines proactively identify process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy of reporting.
• Regularly review performance and apply thorough business understanding to identify, understand and explain variances to expectations, including product margin analysis.
• Produce accurate and insightful reconciliations and ensure that reconciling items are appropriately actioned and closed.
• Assist in the completion of the external audit work and internal delivery requests, producing informative analysis when required.
• Develop strong working relationships with Stada group stakeholders and a thorough understanding of group reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider finance team to support completion of key deliverables e.g., budget, and reforecast process.

What We Need

• Recently qualified or finalist accountant from any major body (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Experience of preparing management accounts, preferably in fast growing and evolving businesses with experience of stock accounting and related processes e.g., FMCG or manufacturing business.
• Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Great attention to detail, high professional standards, and personal integrity.
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively across the business.
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and SAP B1 experience desirable.
• The ability to work in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.
