SCG America Hiring for Senior Asset Manager Job at New York State Full Time

Job Summary

SCG America (SCGA), headquartered in New York City, has three decades of experience in the United States. SCGA’s services range from general contracting, construction management, real estate development, asset and real estate fund management. We are looking for a Senior Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of assigned hotels, restaurants, retail and commercial assets, including current assets in operation and in development stages.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversight of all financial aspects of each hotel in portfolio: P & L,

CapEx, Forecasting and Budgeting.

• Ensures operational excellence for all hotels in portfolio; provides support, critique and guidance to hotels falling short of brand standards and/or company expectations.

• Ensure brand QA Compliance/Performance and approving action plans generated by hotel.

• Acts as liaison between hotel General Manager, restaurant manager and discipline coaches, including but not limited to: Sales and

Marketing, Finance, HR, Learning, Facilities, PR, Revenue Management and Owner Relations.

• Acts as role model and provide guidance on company culture. Selects, develops, manages and leads management team members.

• Guides, develops and implements policies, procedure and systems to improve business operations.

• Review, negotiate and approve annual marketing plans.
• Support senior investment professionals in structuring, negotiating and closing real estate investments, financings and dispositions
• Perform due diligence activities such as lease review, operating statements, financing proposals
• Coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of F&B outlet’s operations & banquets, while maintaining a profitable F&B department and high-quality products and service levels

Qualifications and Skills

Hotel Executive experience preferred.

There are some MUST HAVES:

• Experience managing P&L and trend 3-5 years of progressive management experience

• 5-7 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations industry experience, requiring high execution in both operations and service, with a focus on high team member and/or customer turnover

• Reports and demonstrated math and analytical / ratio skills
• Success in creating new teams and/or rebuilding teams in a collaborative environment
• Phenomenal communication skills, oral and written
• Experience in turning around operationally and/or financially deficient departments or teams
• Demonstrated success managing through defined strategy and delegation
• Bachelor’s degree/Educational background in Accounting, Hotel,

Economics, Finance, and/or Real Estate (work experience taken into consideration in lieu of specific educational requirements)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $175,000.00 per year
