Here’s a snapshot of your day;
  • Responsible for the service delivery and management of Real Estate Accounting services across a portfolio of assets
  • Managing accounting staff and assist with training and performance monitoring
  • Client Relationship Management & building and maintaining key relationships
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including balance sheet, profit and loss analysis and variance commentaries.
  • Prepare and manage outgoings reconciliations budgets, IFRS calculations, and Amortisation schedules across a portfolio of assets
  • Preparation of Percentage Rent, Extended Trade, Occupancy Capping, Direct Recharges
  • Managing and delivering annual budgets and forecasts across a portfolio of assets
  • Process development including improvements to reporting and processes as well as identifying areas which may add value for our clients
  • Assist with Audits and ensure that systems are in compliance with the acceptable accounting practices and applicable regulations
  • Act as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ and trusted advisor for internal and external customers of allocated portfolio.

Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
  • Significant leadership experience in a similar role within the Property Industry
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and a CA or CPA Qualification
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel as well as a high attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with highly developed analytical skills and problem solving capability
  • Exceptional people management skills as well as the ability to manage a diverse number of stakeholders
  • Proactive, responsive, strong attention to detail and have the ability to manage a busy workload.
