The Birch Agency is a nationwide recruiting firm that specializes in providing contract, temporary and/or direct placement staffing. We work within the exceptional children’s, healthcare, and related services industry. Our clients include the public, private, charter schools and alternative schools nationwide. As critical shortages continue to grow throughout the country in special education, our services are needed more than ever, so we are actively seeking to hire a virtual Recruiter to join our team of staffing professionals.

Job Specifics

Recruiting jobs play an important role in our schools and our clients rely on us to fill their current staffing needs. We want someone who has a minimum of two (2) years recruiting experience. Someone who can start out as a junior recruiter and advance into an account manager, if desired. Someone who can work in a fast-paced, competitive work environment. Someone seeking to continue a career in recruitment and desire to grow with our company. Someone seeking to advance to an Account Manager and own a territory. Someone who can think outside the box. Job Details

Must meet all the following qualifications:

• 2 years of solid healthcare recruiting experience.
• Ability to communicate and recruit medical professionals
• Experience hiring SLP, OT, PT, RN, LPN, CNA, teachers, Psych, etc.
• Desire to recruit special education professionals into classroom setting jobs.
• Internet, networking, social media savvy.
• Daily duties include outbound calls, reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screenings, closing.
• Committed to making 50-75 outbound calls a day.
• Capable of building a pipeline of candidates.
• Firm closer/negotiate.
• Able to build long lasting relationships with candidates and team.
• Extravert, outgoing, friendly.
• Understands a sense of urgency for recruiting highly desired candidates.
• Understands contract and direct placement terms and industry.
• Enjoys working in a highly competitive industry.
• Detailed oriented.
• Adaptable, flexible able to switch focus quickly if needed.
• Seeking career advancement within a rapidly growing organization.
• Advance to an account manager with assigned states.
• Able to meet/exceed weekly recruiting goals.

• Proficient with sourcing passive and active candidates.

• Strong social media and technology sourcing and internet skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Familiar with maintaining data in ATS
• Ability to create and maintain positive, long-term relationships with candidates.
• Team orientated company.
• Strong internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload (Fiberoptic internet service is preferable).
