The Role & The Team

The OneSKY Australia Program is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of Airservices next generation services including the future Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS) through the Program – a joint activity with the Department of Defence.

Reporting to the OneSKY Finance and Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and improving the Financial Control and Reporting Framework for the OneSKY Program in conjunction with organisational financial policies and guidance. This will include duties such as month-end accounting process for the OneSKY Program including complex contract financial forecast updates and variance analysis; financial reporting to various stakeholders; development and management of the financial controls for all aspects of the OneSKY Program budget.

You will also be managing project accounting processes, the financial aspects of work orders/contracts within the OneSKY Program as well as the financial aspects of the On-Supply Agreement with Defence.

The Person

The successful applicant will ideally possess:

• Extensive commercial accounting experience, supported by appropriate qualifications and sound knowledge of financial information systems.
• Well-developed management abilities, including a proven ability to successfully manage, create and contribute to a range of financial activities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes.
• Well-developed interpersonal, representation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in coping with pressures and setbacks that will arise in a complex program.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively in a dynamic, high-pressure and supportive environment to deliver quality results and meet customer expectations in a professional and timely manner.
