Stanley Steemer Int Inc Hiring for Software Developer Job at Dublin, OH Full Time

The Software Developer will assist in designing, developing, and testing scalable enterprise applications. This position will work with a team of developers, analysts, and stakeholders to provide the highest quality software and services to better serve our internal and external customers.

Development and Maintenance of Software and Systems

• Design and use computer programming to develop or update corporate/branch/franchise systems and software packages, including but not limited to Corpsys, Power Magic, Power Magic Mobile, ERP, CRM, AX Operating systems and Stanley Steemer Online.
• Maintain and improve existing software systems.
• Develop code for new applications or enhancements to existing applications
• Provide support for existing applications.
• Ensure items are delivered on schedule and comply with best practices and standards.

Interaction with End-users

• Interface with end users to ensure that system development meets their needs.
• Consult with other department such as Accounting, Human Resources, and Business Development about software system design and maintenance.
• Interface with the Help Desk to provide technical support and expertise in resolving software related issues. Troubleshoot data related or programmatic issues.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings.
• Participate in estimating and planning project work.

Product Improvement

• Work with quality assurance analyst to test products, ensuring that programming standards are met.
• Conduct trial runs of proprietary programs to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct and correcting as needed.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements Stay current on new development technologies.
• Conceptualize practical solutions from requirements.
