KTH Shelburne Mfg is a world class, Tier One supplier of welded automotive component parts. We are now accepting resumes for a Facilities Associate. This position will have various responsibilities with an emphasis on HVAC and building maintenance. The successful candidate should have electrical or HVAC diploma or a trade. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, work closely and communicate effectively with other departments.

Some of the Duties would include:

• HVAC, Plumbing and Pump maintenance
• Fabrication including welding, all related hand tools, chop saw, band saw, drill press etc.
• 24VDC wiring, terminal connections, cable creation, conduit running
• Ability to use electronic equipment, machining equipment and welders
• Weld/Cooling Water system maintenance
• Air Compressor/Air Dryer maintenance
• General Building maintenance
• Exhaust Fan maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment problems (Electrically, Mechanically)
• Complete assigned Safety work orders within 5 days of receipt
• Accurately fill out daily report
• Completion of Work orders and Preventative Maintenance tasks
• Implement improvements and countermeasures
• Responsible for equipment associated to Facilities and other areas as directed

Experience:

• Electrical License
• Experience in HVAC repairs and trouble shooting an asset
• Experience in building automation (PLC), plumbing and pumps
• Demonstrated strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Microsoft Office experience an asset.
• Sprinkler systems
• VFD Controls
• Building Automation software
• Position requires professionalism and service orientation
• Electrical background is essential
• Experience working in an automotive or equivalent industry

Key Assets:

• Primarily day shift however needs to be willing and able to support overtime, weekends and emergency call ins as required
• Willing to work from heights (Roof, Genie Boom, Scissor Lift)
• Ability to work in “hot” or “cold” environment
