Minarc Group Hiring for Part-time Accountant Job at Santa Monica, CA Full Time

We have an opening for an experienced, smart, and hard-working accountant. Must be able to account for approx 5-10 active projects simultaneously across various different companies while operating in-house (focus on construction, prefab building system and ADU’s). Part time to begin with an opportunity to turn into a full time position. We are looking for someone who can work 2 days in the office and the rest remotely from home.

Job Description:

 Review contract and financial documents to determine and establish appropriate accounting procedures
 Evaluate and enter financial transactions

 Certificates of Insurance Obtained For Each Sub (construction company)
 Written Contracts Used For All Sub Work (construction company)
 Contracts and Certificates of Insurance Received Prior To Sub Begins Work
 Answering phone as needed and ability to communicate well with clients and venders
 Read client contracts and send out invoices
 Ensure companies are on target or under budget

Requirements:
 Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise
 Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required
 4-7 years of general accounting experience; minimum of 3 years of construction accounting experience required
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical skills
 Great organizational skills and ability to multitask
 Ability to work in fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
 Excellent communication and follow-through skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
