Your team

The UK Corporate Reporting team is responsible for the financial accounting and financial reporting activities for allocated Invesco entities within the UK.

Your role

We’re searching for a Finance Manager for our UK Corporate Reporting team. This role is covering a parental leave period and will be an 18 month Fixed Term Contract. You’ll be responsible for external and internal financial reporting, including the annual financial statements, taking ownership for the accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of financial information presented (US GAAP and local GAAP).

You’ll also oversee and support the preparation of ad hoc and quarterly Board reporting packages, presenting these to the relevant Board(s), as well as liaising with the Regulatory Reporting team to ensure adherence to applicable Capital and Dividend policies. You’ll use your financial forecasting skills to provide the EMEA Regulatory Team with stress-tested financial forecasts. In addition, you’ll be the face of Finance for the local senior leadership team, coordinating interaction with all finance teams.

Sound exciting? You’ll need experience of accounting and financial reporting, ideally within the Asset Management industry, with significant experience in period-end closing of books. You’ll also require a good level of expertise with local accounting standards (UK GAAP) and an excellent knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, as well as knowing your way around regulatory and tax regimes.

We’re looking for an individual with strong business acumen, the ability to drive strategic execution and who is able to identify and synthesise complex information to create insights and recommendations to key members of the business.
